Check-in is between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, check-out is by 11:00 AM. Please let us know your expected arrival time in advance.
The keys are in a key box across the street from the house. Before your stay you receive the code and photos that show you where to find it.
Up to 8. Three bedrooms have a king bed each and the fourth has two twin beds. A crib and a travel crib are available on request; there are no extra beds.
Yes. Children of all ages are welcome, and a crib, a travel crib and a high chair are available on request. The road in front of the house is busy during the day, so please keep an eye on small children by the door.
Yes, up to two pets are welcome for 45 EUR per pet per stay. Please mention your pet when you book.
Yes. There is one free parking space on the premises and more free public parking down the street.
Yes, free Wi-Fi throughout the house, plus an ethernet connection and a dedicated workspace.
No. Like most old Bavarian houses, Stube & Stories has thick walls and no air conditioning.
The house is a protected heritage building (denkmalgeschützt) from the 19th century. Its painted facade, the vaulted kitchen with the old wood-burning range and the tiled stove are part of that history. Inside, it has been renovated with modern bathrooms, kitchen and beds.
Three floors connected by a wooden staircase. On the ground floor: the vaulted kitchen with the breakfast nook and the dining room with the tiled stove. On the first floor: the living room and one bedroom. On the top floor: three bedrooms.
No, the house is non-smoking. Parties are not allowed either.
Yes. The municipality of Garmisch-Partenkirchen charges 3 EUR per night for guests aged 16 and over and 1 EUR for children aged 6 to 15. Children under 6 are free. It includes the GaPa guest card with free local buses.
Yes. Every stay in Bavaria requires a short registration form. Before your arrival you receive a link to the online check-in of the municipality, which takes a few minutes and activates your guest card from day one.
The Zugspitzbahn valley station is about 1.2 km away, a 15-minute walk. The Hausbergbahn is 1.8 km and the Wankbahn 2.7 km from the house.
Yes. Garmisch-Partenkirchen station has direct trains from Munich and is about 1.6 km from the house, a short taxi or bus ride.
